December 30, 2023: Ipswich, SD 57451 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD) and the visiting Timber Lake Panthers (Timber Lake, SD), saw Ipswich's basketball squad overcome Timber Lake by a tally of 58-40.
With the victory, Ipswich improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Northwestern Area lost 67-47 in their recent league challenge against Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Faith Longhorns (Faith, SD) in a B Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Timber Lake will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 73-43 non-league win over Hettinger/Scranton (Hettinger, ND).
