The St. Mary's Lancers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Iroquois Chiefs to 44 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lancers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis for a Monsignor Martin contest on Wednesday, January 3. St. Mary's will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 61-53 non-league loss to St. John's Prep (Astoria, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-5.

The Chiefs (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Griffith Institute (Springville, NY). The Griffins enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Griffith Institute was defeated by Eden (Eden, NY), 57-42, in a non-league contest.
