Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Paul Central crushes Jefferson
December 30, 2023: Bloomington, MN 55437 St. Paul Central Minutemen (St. Paul, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN), 62-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Paul Central upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Buffalo (Buffalo, MN) to play the Bison in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Bison come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Buffalo lost 74-49 in their recent league bout against Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN) in a AAAA Section 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Blaze come into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 48-33 non-league loss to New Prague (New Prague, MN).
