The Merced Bears (Merced, CA) basketball crushed the host Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA), 63-32 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bears (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Golden Valley (Merced, CA). The Cougars go into the Central California Conference test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Golden Valley walloped South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 71-31, in a non-league test.
