Rhode Island High School Basketball - La Salle Academy can't hold off Sanford

The Sanford Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host La Salle Academy Rams to 52 in the Warriors non-league victory on Saturday.

The Warriors now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dover for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Sanford will battle a Senators team coming off a 86-33 league win over Polytech (Woodside, DE). The Senators record now stands at 5-1.

The Rams (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Eagles come into the Division 1 contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Barrington edged Tiverton (Tiverton, RI), 71-35, in a non-league contest.
