December 30, 2023: Garland, TX 75043 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Palo Duro Dons (Amarillo, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lakeview Centennial Patriots (Garland, TX), by a margin of 74-36.
The Dons (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Midland Legacy was trounced by Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX), 62-59, in a non-league outing.
The Patriots now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they host Wylie East for a 6A Region II District 9 outing on Tuesday, January 2. Lakeview Centennial will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 43-37 non-league win over Midlothian (Midlothian, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 8-6.
