Minnesota High School Basketball - Lakeview nips Underwood
December 30, 2023: Cottonwood, MN 56229 Lakeview Lakers (Cottonwood, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Underwood Rockets (Underwood, MN), 59-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lakeview upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Lakers host Edgerton (Edgerton, MN) to play the Flying Dutchmen in a A Section 3 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Flying Dutchmen go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Edgerton won 56-45 in their recent non-league bout against Martin County West (Sherburn, MN)
Next up, the Rockets play the Bertha-Hewitt Bears (Bertha, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Underwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 81-53 non-league loss to Park Rapids (Park Rapids, MN).
