The Warriors now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 2. Lamar will battle a Eagles team coming off a 63-38 non-league win over Westside (Coal Hill, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 6-12.
The Bulldogs (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR). The Ricebirds come into the 4A Region 8 battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Stuttgart prevailed over Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR), 50-48, in a non-league battle.
