The Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Law Lawmen to 41 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granby Memorial for a North Central Connecticut contest on Wednesday, January 3. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy will battle a Bears team coming off a 75-50 non-league loss to Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT). The Bears record now stands at 2-2.
The Lawmen (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against East Haven (East Haven, CT). The Yellowjackets come into the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, East Haven prevailed over Career Magnet (New Haven, CT), 52-37, in a non-league contest.
