December 30, 2023: Waconia, MN 55387 The Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD), 68-65 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN). The Eagles go into the AAAA Section 2 test with a 5-4 record.
The Orioles now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rock Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4. Lennox will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 80-52 league loss to MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Rockets record now stands at 4-3.
