Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lower Cape May Tigers (Cape May, NJ) and the visiting Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ), saw Lower Cape May's basketball squad knock off Penns Grove by a count of 51-38.

With the victory, Lower Cape May upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Sunday, December 31. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Wildwood Catholic lost 60-50 in their recent non-league challenge against La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Woodstown Wolverines (Woodstown, NJ) in a Tri-County - Diamond challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Penns Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 53-47 non-league win over New Egypt (New Egypt, NJ).
