Washington High School Basketball - Lummi thwarts Wahkiakum
December 30, 2023: Cathlamet, WA 98612 The Lummi Blackhawks (Bellingham, WA) basketball knocked off the host Wahkiakum Mules (Cathlamet, WA), 65-55 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Blackhawks (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Tulalip Heritage (Marysville, WA). The Hawks go into the 1B Northwest test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Tulalip Heritage notched a victory over Shoreline Christian (Seattle, WA), 70-28, in a league test.
The Mules now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Morton/White Pass for a 2B Central test on Thursday, January 4.
