In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lynwood Knights (Lynwood, CA) basketball squad felled the host Roosevelt Roughriders (Seattle, WA), by a margin of 82-69.

The Knights (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Matadores go into the Gateway outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, La Mirada was beaten by Branson (Ross, CA), 82-80, in a non-league outing.

The Roughriders now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Ingraham for a 3A Metro outing on Wednesday, January 3. Roosevelt will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 57-36 non-league loss to Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA). The Rams record now stands at 7-4.
