December 30, 2023: Dallas, TX 75244 The Midland Christian Mustangs basketball squad scored 56 points and restricted the host White Longhorns to 34 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 2. Midland Christian will attempt to move on its 20-4 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 16-4 record after their 68-53 non-league loss to Rouse (Leander, TX).
With the defeat, White moves to 14-4 on the year. The Longhorns host Kimball (Dallas, TX) to meet the Knights in a 5A Region II District 11 match on Wednesday, January 3. The Knights enter the match with a record of 9-10. Kimball lost 65-52 in their recent non-league match against DeSoto (DeSoto, TX)
