Arkansas High School Basketball - Russellville nips Mills University Studies
December 30, 2023: Russellville, AR 72802 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Russellville Cyclones (Russellville, AR) and the visiting Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR), saw Russellville's basketball squad hold off Mills University Studies by a count of 63-56.
With the victory, Russellville upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Greenwood (Greenwood, AR) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A West challenge on Friday, January 5. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.
Next up, the Comets play the Watson Chapel Wildcats (Pine Bluff, AR) in a 4A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Mills University Studies will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 57-44 non-league loss to Alma (Alma, AR).
