Virginia High School Basketball - Westminster Catawba Christian routs Nansemond-Suffolk Academy
December 30, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Westminster Catawba Christian Indians (Rock Hill, SC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA), by a margin of 73-45.
The Indians (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC). The Eagles go into the NCISAA Metrolina outing with a 10-10 record. In their last outing, Gaston Christian was trounced by United Faith Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC), 53-43, in a non-league outing.
The Saints now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Kempsville for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 3. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 69-55 non-league loss to Hampton (Hampton, VA). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-3.
