The Trojans now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host The Colony for a 5A Region II District 9 battle on Tuesday, January 2. Newman Smith will battle a Cougars team coming off a 74-64 non-league win over Little Elm (Little Elm, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 16-3.
The Raiders (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Denton (Denton, TX). The Broncos come into the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 10-13 record. In their last battle, Denton was nudged by Keller Central (Keller, TX), 55-50, in a non-league battle.
