New Jersey High School Basketball - Summit nips Notre Dame
December 30, 2023: Summit, NJ 07091 Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Notre Dame Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ), 62-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Summit upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Madison (Madison, NJ) to play the Dodgers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Dodgers go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Madison won 66-53 in their recent league bout against Randolph (Randolph, NJ)
Next up, the Irish play the Princeton Day Panthers (Princeton, NJ) in a Colonial Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 56-44 non-league loss to Union (Union, NJ).
