New Jersey High School Basketball - Shawnee knocked off by Ocean City
December 30, 2023: Ocean City, NJ 08226 The Ocean City Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Shawnee Renegades to 41 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middle Township for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Ocean City will battle a Panthers team coming off a 81-54 non-league win over St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 6-1.
The Renegades (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Kingsway ran past Glassboro (Glassboro, NJ), 55-47, in a non-league contest.
