Texas High School Basketball - Peninsula edges St. Stephen's Episcopal
December 30, 2023: Austin, TX 78746 The Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) basketball nipped the host St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans (Austin, TX), 38-32 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Seahawks (3-6) will now prepare for their test against River Ridge (Lacey, WA). The Hawks go into the 3A South Sound test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, River Ridge got by Rochester (Rochester, WA), 65-43, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 16-6 record. They play next when they host Kinkaid for a Southwest Prep - South test on Friday, January 5. St. Stephen's Episcopal will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 40-31 non-league loss to Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 4-15.
