California High School Basketball - Pioneer tipped by Tarbut V' Torah
December 30, 2023: Whittier, CA 90606 The Tarbut V' Torah Lions basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Pioneer Titans to 62 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Christian for a Academy contest on Tuesday, January 9. Tarbut V' Torah will meet a Fighting Lancers team coming off a 48-38 non-league win over Diamond Ranch (Pomona, CA). The Fighting Lancers record now stands at 13-6.
The Titans (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Whitney (Cerritos, CA). The Wildcats enter the 605 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Whitney was nudged by Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA), 48-46, in a non-league contest.
