Illinois High School Basketball - Waukegan crushes Plainfield Central
December 30, 2023: Plainfield, IL 60544 Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), 71-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Waukegan upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Warren Township (Gurnee, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a North Suburban bout on Friday, January 5. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 15-1. Warren Township won 78-52 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie bout, on Friday, January 5. Plainfield Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 72-67 non-league win over Addison Trail (Addison, IL).
