Ohio High School Basketball - Wynford tops Plymouth
December 30, 2023: Plymouth, OH 44865 Wynford Royals (Bucyrus, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Plymouth Big Red (Plymouth, OH), 66-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wynford upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Colonel Crawford (North Robinson, OH) to play the Eagles in a Northern 10 bout on Saturday, January 6. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Colonel Crawford won 63-41 in their recent non-league bout against Clyde (Clyde, OH)
Next up, the Big Red play the Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) in a Firelands bout, on Friday, January 5. Plymouth will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 78-39 league win over Mapleton (Ashland, OH).
