Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN) and the visiting University School of Jackson Bruins (Jackson, TN), saw Ripley's basketball squad hold off University School of Jackson by a tally of 47-40.

With the victory, Ripley improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 9-5.

Next up, the Bruins confront the Jackson Christian Eagles (Jackson, TN) in a Division II-A West District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 5.
