New Jersey High School Basketball - Somerville thwarts West Windsor-Plainsboro North
December 30, 2023: Somerville, NJ 08876 The Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights (Plainsboro, NJ), 42-31 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pioneers (5-2) will now prepare for their test against The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ). The Big Blue go into the Skyland - Raritan test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, The Pingry School notched a victory over North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ), 71-45, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Trenton Central for a Colonial Valley test on Tuesday, January 2. West Windsor-Plainsboro North will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 73-56 non-league loss to Howell (Farmingdale, NJ). The Tornadoes record now stands at 2-5.
