Alaska High School Basketball - South Anchorage nudges Westview
December 30, 2023: Anchorage, AK 99516 In Saturday's non-league outing, the South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) basketball squad edged the visiting Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA), by a count of 54-47.
The Wolverines (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bartlett (Anchorage, AK). The Golden Bears go into the 4A Cook Inlet outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Bartlett held off Wasilla (Wasilla, AK), 48-42, in a non-league outing.
The Wolverines now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Valhalla for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 3. Westview will clash with a Norsemen squad coming off a 60-46 non-league loss to Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Norsemen record now stands at 4-9.
