New York High School Basketball - St. Francis Prep can't hold off St. Mary's
December 30, 2023: Fresh Meadows, NY 11365 The St. Francis Prep Terriers basketball team (Fresh Meadows, NY), was nudged 77-74 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ)
The Knights now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brophy College Prep for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 3. St. Mary's will battle a Broncos team coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Clovis West (Fresno, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 8-6.
The Terriers (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Holy Cross (Flushing, NY). The Knights come into the Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens battle with a 2-5 record.
