Illinois High School Basketball - Willowbrook fells Westmont
December 30, 2023: Westmont, IL 60559 Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL), 62-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Willowbrook upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Warriors host Leyden (Franklin Park, IL) to play the Eagles in a West Suburban - Gold bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Leyden won 71-67 in their recent non-league bout against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL)
Next up, the Sentinels play the IC Catholic Prep Knights (Elmhurst, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Westmont will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 55-53 non-league loss to Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL).
