In Saturday's non-league outing, the Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) basketball squad edged the visiting Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN), by a count of 39-37.

The Patriots (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Blue River Valley was tipped by Blackford (Hartford City, IN), 65-35, in a non-league outing.
