The Colts now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haltom for a 6A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, January 2. Arlington will battle a Buffalos team coming off a 61-28 non-league loss to Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Buffalos record now stands at 5-16.
The Lions (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines come into the 5A Region II District 9 battle with a 17-6 record. In their last battle, Wakeland prevailed over South Garland (Garland, TX), 64-23, in a non-league battle.
