Michigan High School Basketball - Beal City knocked off by Sacred Heart Academy
December 30, 2023: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 The Sacred Heart Academy Irish basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Beal City Aggies to 36 in the Irish non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Irish now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashley for a Mid-State contest on Wednesday, January 3. Sacred Heart Academy will battle a Bears team coming off a 40-36 non-league win over Owendale-Gagetown (Owendale, MI). The Bears record now stands at 1-4.
The Aggies (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Manton (Manton, MI). The Rangers enter the Highland contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Manton was defeated by Negaunee (Negaunee, MI), 57-50, in a non-league contest.
