Texas High School Basketball - Bells nips Whitesboro
December 30, 2023: Whitesboro, TX 76273 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bells Panthers (Bells, TX) and the host Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX), saw Bells's basketball squad hold off Whitesboro by a tally of 50-44.
With the victory, Bells improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Howe (Howe, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 11 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Howe won 27-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Era (Era, TX)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Whitesboro will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 67-21 league loss to Ponder (Ponder, TX).
