The Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Bishop Ready Silver Knights (Columbus, OH), 37-35 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Invaders (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Garfield (Akron, OH). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Garfield was tipped by Hoover (North Canton, OH), 51-17, in a non-league test.

The Silver Knights now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Newark Catholic for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 3. Bishop Ready will encounter a Green Wave squad coming off a 59-17 non-league win over Bishop Rosecrans (Zanesville, OH). The Green Wave record now stands at 8-0.
