In Saturday's league outing, the Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD) basketball squad edged the visiting Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD), by a margin of 53-46.

The Bobcats (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD). The Knights go into the AA outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, O'Gorman held off Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA), 70-53, in a non-league outing.

The Bucks/Gazelles now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mitchell for a AA outing on Friday, January 5. Yankton will clash with a Kernels squad coming off a 71-56 non-league win over Campbell County (Gillette, WY). The Kernels record now stands at 6-0.
