Texas High School Basketball - Crowley fells Centennial
December 30, 2023: Crowley, TX 76036 Crowley Eagles (Crowley, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX), 49-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Crowley upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bell (Hurst, TX) to play the Blue Raiders in a 6A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Blue Raiders go into the bout with a record of 21-1. Bell won 64-31 in their recent league bout against Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX)
Next up, the Spartans play the Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 14-10 record after their 54-31 non-league win over Pinkston (Dallas, TX).
