Wisconsin High School Basketball - Columbus Catholic ripped by Pacelli
December 30, 2023: Stevens Point, WI 54481 The Pacelli Cardinals basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Columbus Catholic Dons to 22 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wabeno/Laona for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 31. Pacelli will battle a Rebels team coming off a 52-46 non-league win over Menominee Indian (Keshena, WI). The Rebels record now stands at 8-3.
The Dons (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Greenwood (Greenwood, WI). The Indians enter the Cloverbelt - East contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Greenwood was routed by Alma Center Lincoln (Alma Center, WI), 50-39, in a non-league contest.
