December 30, 2023: Conway, AR 72034 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX) and the host Conway Wampus Cats (Conway, AR), saw Duncanville's basketball squad wallop Conway by a tally of 62-22.
With the victory, Duncanville improves its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Panthers and Pantherettes host Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a 6A Region II District 11 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Cedar Hill won 54-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX)
Next up, the Wampus Cats confront the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats (North Little Rock, AR) in a 6A Central challenge, on Friday, January 5. Conway will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Charging Wildcats come into the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 53-47 non-league loss to Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX).
