Texas High School Basketball - West Plains crushes Gruver
December 30, 2023: Amarillo, TX 79119 West Plains Wolves (Amarillo, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gruver Greyhounds (Gruver, TX), 55-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Plains upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Wolves travel to Spearman (Spearman, TX) to play the Lynx in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Spearman won 47-25 in their recent non-league bout against Perryton (Perryton, TX)
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Vega Longhorns (Vega, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Gruver will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 51-48 non-league win over Quanah (Quanah, TX).
