Indiana High School Basketball - Logansport can't hold off Wheeler

December 30, 2023: Logansport, IN 46947

The Wheeler Bearcats basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Logansport Berries to 36 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bearcats now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kouts for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Wheeler will battle a Mustangs & Fillies team coming off a 42-35 non-league loss to Rochester (Rochester, IN). The Mustangs & Fillies record now stands at 5-12.

The Berries (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Kokomo (Kokomo, IN). The Wildkats enter the North Central contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Kokomo nudged Eastern (Pekin, IN), 41-38, in a non-league contest.
