Minnesota High School Basketball - Maple Grove can't hold off Prior Lake
December 30, 2023: Prior Lake, MN 55372 The Maple Grove Crimson basketball team (Maple Grove, MN), was nudged 56-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Prior Lake Lakers (Prior Lake, MN)
The Lakers now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waconia for a AAAA Section 2 battle on Tuesday, January 2. Prior Lake will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 71-30 non-league win over Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-6.
The Crimson (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN). The Rebels come into the AAAA Section 5 battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Champlin Park was nudged by Andover (Andover, MN), 82-49, in a non-league battle.
