December 30, 2023: McMinnville, OR 97128 The McMinnville Grizzlies basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders to 47 in the Grizzlies non-league victory on Saturday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. McMinnville will battle a Roughriders team coming off a 52-37 non-league loss to Tualatin Valley Academy (Hillsboro, OR). The Roughriders record now stands at 6-4.
The Roughriders (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Grant (Portland, OR). The Generals come into the 6A Portland contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Grant was defeated by Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA), 47-34, in a non-league contest.
