December 30, 2023: Hoschton, GA 30548 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Springboro Panthers basketball team scored a tight 42-40 triumph over the Mill Creek Hawks.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Beavercreek Beavers (Beavercreek, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio match, on Wednesday, January 3. Springboro will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Beavers enter the match with a 6-4 record after their 71-29 non-league loss to Purcell Marian (Cincinnati, OH).
With the defeat, Mill Creek moves to 8-3 on the year. The Hawks travel to Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA) to meet the Black Knights in a AAAAAAA Region 8 match on Friday, January 5. The Black Knights enter the match with a record of 13-2. Central Gwinnett won 68-32 in their recent non-league match against Apalachee (Winder, GA)
