California High School Basketball - Needles trounces Segerstrom

December 30, 2023: Needles, CA 92363

The Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA), 62-34 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Lake Mead Academy (Henderson, NV). The Eagles go into the 2A Southern test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Lake Mead Academy was trounced by White Pine (Ely, NV), 44-23, in a league test.

The Jaguars now own a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Godinez Fundamental for a Golden West test on Wednesday, January 3. Segerstrom will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 49-27 non-league loss to Villa Park (Villa Park, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-8.
