West Virginia High School Basketball - Parkersburg South overwhelms Linsly
December 30, 2023: Parkersburg, WV 26101 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) and the visiting Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV), saw Parkersburg South's basketball squad wallop Linsly by a tally of 59-27.
With the victory, Parkersburg South improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host University (Morgantown, WV) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. University won 66-37 in their recent non-league challenge against West Springfield (Springfield, VA)
Next up, the Cadets play the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Linsly will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 63-39 league win over Logan (Logan, WV).
