December 30, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90035 Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Santa Paula Cardinals (Santa Paula, CA), 57-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Panthers host Shalhevet (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Firehawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Firehawks go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Shalhevet lost 46-41 in their recent league bout against Burroughs (Burbank, CA)
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Carpinteria Warriors (Carpinteria, CA) in a Citrus Coast bout, on Friday, January 5. Santa Paula will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 53-36 non-league loss to Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA).
