California High School Basketball - Mayfair tops Hamilton
December 30, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90034 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) and the host Hamilton Yankees (Los Angeles, CA), saw Mayfair's basketball squad knock off Hamilton by a count of 58-50.
With the victory, Mayfair upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Monsoons host Downey (Downey, CA) to play the Vikings in a challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Downey won 59-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Lawndale (Lawndale, CA)
Next up, the Yankees play the Los Angeles CES Unicorns (Los Angeles, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, January 8. Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Unicorns come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 63-27 non-league win over Price (Los Angeles, CA).
