California High School Basketball - Marina nudges Scotts Valley
December 30, 2023: Scotts Valley, CA 95066 Marina Mariners (Marina, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Scotts Valley Falcons (Scotts Valley, CA), 55-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Marina upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Mariners host North Monterey County (Castroville, CA) to clash with the Condors in a bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Condors go into the bout with a record of 1-1. North Monterey County lost 84-32 in their recent non-league bout against Oakwood (Morgan Hill, CA)
Next up, the Falcons clash with the Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Scotts Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 68-25 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Stockton, CA).
