California High School Basketball - West Valley overwhelms Mt. Shasta
December 30, 2023: Mt. Shasta, CA 96067 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) and the host Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA), saw West Valley's basketball squad wallop Mt. Shasta by a tally of 49-26.
With the victory, West Valley improves its record to 3-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA) to confront the Falcons in a challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 5-6.
Next up, the Bears confront the Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Mt. Shasta will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 43-42 non-league win over Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA).
