The Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), 74-51 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Spiders now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Robinson for a 3A South Piedmont bout on Friday, January 3. Concord will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 87-67 non-league win over Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Ballantyne Ridge falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Wolves host Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to play the Trojans in a 4A South Meck bout on Friday, January 3. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Olympic lost 50-38 in their recent non-league bout against Davie (Mocksville, NC)
