In Monday's non-league test, the Wood Wildcats (Vacaville, CA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Bear Creek Bruins (Stockton, CA), by a score of 64-55.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) in a Monticello Empire League test, on Friday, January 3. Wood will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record.
